| EditPad (now "EditPad Classic") is a replacement for the MS OS utility
wordpad by Jan Goyvaerts. Global
replace on all open files is a handy tool, and it has other slick features
as well. Download it from
here.
His newer EditPad products are probably great too, but I haven't upgraded yet. I have also used HelpScribble, and it's a terrific Help file creator utility. |
| Eyedropper is a little
utility which sits in the icon tray when you run it. To activate
it, doubleclick the dropper in the tray, and your pointer turns into a
dropper. Hold the pointer over any area on the desktop (browser,
application, whatever) and eyedropper will tell you the exact RGB for the
color. It's by Vizija.
If instead of RGB you want the hex equivalent, this little javascript program will calculate it for you. It came from Web-Development.com (which may be under construction.) |

| Here's the W3C. Learn about protocols and standards. 'Nuff said. |
| This is the link to the MySQL3.23

hosting systems, and is very easy to use.
The searchable version of the doc (thanks PHP!) is here. |
